Connerton’s master plan is comprised of four Villages, each with its own parks, recreational amenities and distinctive characters. Two Villages are already in place:
The Arbors and The Gardens.
The Village Center at The Arbors features Publix, Florida’s largest grocery store chain, local and national chain restaurants, fast food eateries, office space and a host of retail establishments. The Gardens Village Center is adjacent to Club Connerton, the recreation and social hub of the community. Its plan calls for a mix of office and retail space. Future plans call for two more villages: the Hammocks and The Meadows.
Connerton’s overall master plan includes a Town Center, which will feature a mix of residential, retail, professional, commercial space and 20 acres for a future government center. This will be the focal point of the community with a hometown main street, open spaces, gathering places, and educational and recreational opportunities.
A fundamental concept behind Connerton is to offer every convenience within the community so travel distances to shop and work are reduced. After all, quality of life improves dramatically when you don’t have to spend so much time getting there.
Connerton Commerce Park is the 39-acre site of the current acute care Florida Hospital Facility and Pasco County’s brand new 55,000 sq. ft. Utilities Building. It has land entitled for office space and light industrial use.
